Located in a place described to us by our expedition staff as the “glacier graveyard” are endless sculpture like ice formations of stranded glaciers. Ice gets caught in these bays stranded on the ocean floor caught by the currents and left to melt. I found it fascinating to look for patterns or interesting compositions in the ice. Watch as light plays across the landscape. The sad reality of the fate of this ice gives way to beauty of the waves and suns creation.
