Derek Nielsen

I believe photography is about far more than technical settings. It is about learning how to see, how to connect, and how to tell a story through light, color, and intention. My teaching style is supportive, hands-on, and rooted in helping each photographer build confidence in a way that feels approachable and inspiring. Through workshops like this one, my goal is to help you create stronger images while enjoying the process of being present with your camera. I love building a community around our shared love for the beauty of nature.
