Great Chicago Storm

I remember living in the South Loop of Chicago at the time. A storm was making its way down Lake Michigan from the North. Watching the radar, I noticed a very small rain wall in front of this storm so I grabbed my gear and headed out to Chicago’s Planetarium. This sort of storm is ideal to photograph because one can get pretty intense lighting strikes without getting rain on the lens. This storm produced some pretty magnificent strikes over the skyline in what would being one of my personal favorite photographs.
