Limited edition fine art print of 6 – Meteora is such a special place on Earth for so many reasons. Today, it is home to 6 monasteries high atop steep rock formations, creating one fairytale-like landscape. This region has an extraordinary history with signs of early humans occupying the caves 50,000 years ago. The earliest known human-built structure, a wall built 23,000-plus years ago, rests inside a hidden cave nearby. You can feel the magic of this place standing on its cliffs, looking into the valley below. There is an energy here not lost on its visitors. Throughout the ages, so many sought shelter or sanctuary from persecution inside these cliffs and caves.
