Limited edition fine art print of 6 – All across the Greek islands cats are present. They are the keepers of clean streets, restaurants, and shops. They come in every color and pattern the species provides. As a nature photographer of course I am drawn to these adorable animals. Even when I was attempting to focus on landscape photography as I was here, cats found clever ways to distract me. In this particular scene, I was photographing distressed doors and windows of a sleepy fishing village when up popped this curious little kitten. The colors and composition were way too good not to point the camera at it and make this the focal point of my shoot. Nature always finds a way into my heart. Photo © copyright by Derek Nielsen
