Koh Tao, known for its incredible diving locations and remote beauty, shines as one of Thailand’s top destinations to visit. Here a small rocky island pokes out of the still water off Koa Tao’s southern shore, as divers finish a last dive before the evening sets in. With rising ocean temperatures and increasing tourism local organizations have had an uphill battle preserving this marine sanctuary to thousands of species, including sea turtles, whale sharks, 130 species of hard coral, and 223 species of reef fish.
