Woods Lake
Telluride Colorado, 2023
Limited edition fine art print of 6 – Woods Lake is a less traveled lake outside of Telluride. I spent two full days there hiking around the lake, looking for my favorite angles to photograph. The air was so pure and sweet. Two full days and only a handful of people crossed my path. On my second day, the sun was beginning to drop as I finished my hike, so I set up my tripod along the lake’s shore to see if I could capture some of the magic as the sun set behind the mountain. With very little wind, I was so lucky to capture this sunset reflection of this peaceful place. Photo © copyright by Derek Nielsen.
